Crystal Glass GroutCrystal Glass grout is a single product. The effect is translucent, meaning it pulls color from surrounding glass mosaics. It's effect works best in solid color mosaics known as Through-Color. The photos are supportive of how the grout is able to pull color from surrounding glass and take on an appearance of the glass itself. Each type of glass performs differently and while color-backed glass mosaics still perform well, the color is less intense similar to a neutral glass effect. This grout should be used with glass mosaics not large format tiles. Set mosaics with white adhesive and don't use Crystal grout as a setting material. This is a patented resin that is a 100% solids epoxy that is stain, UV and chemical resistant. Easier to use than traditional epoxy and utilizes a simple water clean-up formula. Unlike traditional epoxies this one has low toxicity and is only classified as an irritant, rather than a corrosive substance. Unlike urethane glass grout this can be used in all wet areas (pools, hot tubs, steam areas, outdoors), and is also non-shrink and has a high compression strength.
