Paul and Jodi show how you to make sure your floor is ready for tile. They discuss proper layout and installation techniques. Sorting of marble tiles are discussed. Proper mixing of the thinset, use of tools, both cutting board and saw techniques are all covered here.
Not to be overlooked, grouting is an important part of any tile project. This DVD spends time on the sometimes overlooked skill of grouting. The use of a floor leveler is shown. Crack isolation membranes are applied where needed. Tile trimming techniques are covered. We even showcase an uncoupling membrane!
